What is LED Therapy?
LED activates skin cells with pulses of low level, non thermal light energy. The cell converts light energy into fuel (much like photosynthesis) in turn stimulating the cells to produce proteins and lipids essential for building and repairing the skin.
Research has confirmed that LED can speed healing, reduce inflammation and stimulate fibroblasts and collagen production, by as much as 200% within just 24 hours of treatment!
While experimenting with growing plants in space NASA discovered the diodes had promising medical applications and benefits.

What are the different light options in RenewU and what do they treat?
Blue Light (420-470nm):
Blue light kills acne causing bacteria, is proven to reduce symptoms of depression and treats inflammation.
Red Light (630-730nm):
Red light stimulates the production of collagen and is capable of penetrating the skin to a depth where, once absorbed, the light energy is converted to cellular energy, stimulating the
body’s natural processes on a cellular level and kicking off a whole series of metabolic events, including:

What is the main difference between the RejuvU™ and the medical grade RenewU™ LED devices?
This device has 3 colours (red, blue and green) plus Infra-Red on the one head and has an auto shut-off timer.
The other major benefit of this device is that you can combine two colours to address multiple concerns in one treatment e.g. a client may have ageing and pigmentation concerns simply combine the red and green lights in the one treatment for results on both concerns. This device is perfect for clinics/salons that predominately want LED for skin rejuvenation.
The LED treatments take only 15 minutes. 6-8 treatments are recommended in a course and is a fantastic add-on to other treatments, be that skin needling, injectables, micro’s etc. It is a treatment for every skin concern and every skin type.
If you are after LED for skin rejuvenation the RejuvU is perfect for this without the large price tag which is the device I think would be perfect for you. However if you are wanting LED for medical procedures eg treatment of skin carcinomas and challenging wound healing then you would need the RenewU.
The main difference is between the the RenewU™ and RejuvU™ devices, is the diodes (LED) lights. The diodes on the RenewU are stronger therefore treatment times are less eg 10 mins vs RejuvU which is 15 – 20 mins.
