What is Jet Injection?
Jet Injection is a needle-free transdermal delivery technology that uses high-pressure pneumatic air to fragment a bioactive solution into micro-droplets and propel them onto the skin at extremely high velocity. The resulting pressure drives the active ingredients below the skin surface and into the dermis at a precise depth of approximately 2.2–2.3mm, without needle contact.
Unlike traditional needle injection, which delivers products by physically inserting a needle into the dermis, Jet Injection uses pressure-driven micro-droplet delivery. With the MDerma.Jet, the handpiece is moved across the treatment area to deliver active ingredients while also creating mechanical effects that can support fibroblast activity and dermal remodelling.
How does it work?
MDerma.Jet uses high-pressure pneumatic air pulses to fragment a bioactive solution into micro-droplets and propel them at extremely high velocity towards the skin. The pressure generated by the micro-droplets drives the active ingredients below the skin surface and into the dermis at a depth of approximately 2.2–2.3mm, without needle contact.
As the handpiece moves across the treatment area, the process creates mechanical micro-trauma and subcision-like effects, which trigger fibroblast activity and dermal remodelling to support collagen production
